This Friday's Football Concession Volunteers Earn Florida Trip Money
Dear Music Booster Membership:
The concessions at our Varsity Football games will be handled in a different manner this year. The Music Booster program has a unique opportunity to raise funds for the Music Department and students Florida trip. If members are willing to work the stand for a varsity football game, the profits from that night will go to our program.
Our only option to take advantage of this opportunity is this Friday August 29th.
We will need 8 people to staff the concession stand from 6pm-8pm (setup/sales) and 8 people to work from 8pm-10pm (sales/teardown). The first 16 people to email barbara.mower@mowrer.net will be assigned to work on August 29th. We will, of course, have a waiting list for both shifts, and, if someone has to cancel, we will go to the next name on the shift lists.
What is involved?
- Making Pretzels, Pizza, Hot Dogs, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Nachos w/Cheese, Popcorn
- 2 Cashiers
- Food-Beverage Runners/Servers
- Stocking condiments, napkins, etc. as needed
- Cleanup
- Service with a smile!
*If you will be working, please be sure to wear your hair back and/or a ball cap per health department rules.
This is a fantastic opportunity to raise funds while enjoying an evening at the new Alumni Field.

Enrichment is part of the Music Booster's Mission
The ongoing mission of the music boosters is to foster and encourage student development in the musical arts. Throughout the year the music boosters raise money to provide funds used to purchase instruments, equipment and uniforms. Booster volunteers provide hospitality for both the IHS and visiting bands at football halftime, and also assist with set design/construction and costume design/creation for the madrigal and drama productions. The Music Boosters also offer a musical enrichment grant for eligible students. To get more information about the enrichment grant and other great things the boosters offer, see the boosters website at www.ihsboosters.com.
